Lermoos Brettlalm – hiking trail
6 km
Mountain/ forest
Unleashed dogs allowed
Because the lifts couldn’t take us up the mountain we had to hike ourselves. We decided to hike all the way up to the Brettlalm. It’s a 3km hike up and a 3km hike down from the Brettlalm restaurant.
We started our hike directly from our apartment. But if you come by car, you can park it at the Kirchplatze. The way up the Brettlalm gave us some amazing views on the Zugspitze and Ehrwald and we even spotted deers and squirrels along the way. The first 3 km we followed the trail crossing the meadows of the Brettlalm which will be covered in grass and flowers from May on. We still had some snowy patches to cross, which we really liked. During summer season you can have a nice rest at the Brettlalm restaurant at 1,333 meters altitude.
On our way down we followed the Jägersteig trail which is full of rocky paths and has lots of bends and turns which were awesome for both Oliver and Aylin.
