The landscape is actually a forest, heather fields and dune sand. So much to see in a single hike. And you get to take your shoes off!
One of our favorite hikes ever. We follow the bare foot path leading us over different pathways through the forest. A real experience for kids and cats. What we love about this trail is that most dog owners choose other trails so it’s mostly just us. We love to feel the forest ground beneath our feet and when we enter the heather fields, the sand sure is welcome. We run around, chasing each other and playing hide and seek. Leaving the heather fields we enter a huge sand drift where we can run and explore some more before entering the forest again.
