Dutch windmills are a must-see sight and there is one place that you have to visit just for this occasion.
When we want to visit Kinderdijk we always take our bikes. We’re lucky the grandparents live very close tot he windmills so for us it’s just a short bike ride to the famous windmills. We need to point out it can be really crowded with lots of tourists. We recommend going very early in the day or around 6/7pm. We love to go on New Year’s day, because no one’s around.
