We absolutely loved this hike! Once we parked our car we followed the red markings. We started this hike in the forest. Wide lanes brought us deeper and deeper in the forest.

During this first part leashed dogs are allowed. After 1 km we reached the sheepfold from where you can choose to go directly to the heather fields and grazing area where dogs are not allowed. We chose to follow the forest trail for a bit more and it brought us all the way to an amazing pond which was surrounded by beautiful trees. The path let through dark tunnels and made us climb up the small hill. From here it was only a short way to the grazing area which made us feel totally free because we didn’t have to care about dogs. The kids and Oliver could run and explore this amazing area. The trail let us back to the sheepfold and back to the car.
