One of Mullerthal’s iconic waterfalls is the Schiessentümpel waterfall.
Müllerthal trail Schiessentümpel
We park the car at the camping site parking lot and follow the trail into the forest. This hike is way easier than the others we did. There’s not so much climbing which is fine with us. The only climbing we do is up to the witches cave. From there we follow the flat trail through the forest and country side back to the parking lot.
We drove to the Tourist centre Heringer Millen where we parked our car (it’s the same parking lot as we used to walk the W2 trail). From here we follow the W6/W7 trail which leads us to the amazing waterfall. It’s a short hike, only 1km. Because of it’s fame, it can be really crowdy. We went around 6 p.m. so most people would be returning home. We waited a bit to have the placet ourselves to get amazing shots.
